Lame title, I know. So far, it's only been two days since my senior year started! I have several mixed feelings about the start so far. Because it's my fourth year here, it's kind of hard to view everything as "brand new" compared to before. Sometimes that bothers me because I think that's how relationships can and usually end up working... unless both people work hard enough. But since Mitty isn't a person who's capable of putting in effort to making this relationship work, I guess that means I'm just going to have to try to see things in a different, improved light.
That was my goal yesterday and today, and I'll have to conclude with that it works! It kind of feels like we just jumped right into the middle of the school year, but things have been pretty good thus far. I'm content with all of my classes and teachers, and then there's always Concert Choir and Interact to look forward to -- if I want to talk about school-related things.
I'm trying my best to not procrastinate this year despite all the "senioritis" everyone swears will happen to every single person. I had a bit of a hard time yesterday, but I finished at a decent time and it's nothing to worry about since it was the first day and all. Today, I got pretty productive and was even able to work out! I've been a lot more consistent doing that this summer, and I don't want to break it. (Much like my heart...awwwwwww.)
There are so many positive things that can come out from independently exercising. At this point, I've realized that, despite how much I want to combust into flames in the midst of running around or something, it really clears my mind and I feel relaxed and accomplished after. And, if done the right way, it's really beneficial to my health! But I mean.. that's a given. It's also a better way to take breaks from homework... instead of starring at the computer for however many hours.
Afkldjfsk, well, I still don't know exactly what I'm looking forward to, but I'm definitely excited for the rest of this year!
