Coach Valerie's Engagement Party



April brought me to her cousin (aka my old basketball coach)'s engagement party and it was so incredibly cute! I was able to put myself onto their fingerprint family tree and be in the front of the family photos. Needless to say, I'm a Perez now.


Or well idk I don't know what Coach Valerie's last name is. 
*shrug* :D

HOW TO: Heatless Natural Waves

A couple of people have asked me how I do my hair everyday and I felt that was enough inspire a quick video! It's super easy and effortless and I usually stop caring about how my hair looks for the rest of the day.

NOTE: My hair has sort of a strange, malleable texture. So after I shower, if I don't brush it, it gets wavy and looks more like the end result, but if I do brush it, it's more or less straight. I like putting it up and waiting whenever I feel like adding some extra umph to my waves. I also say it works for rainy days because my hair only gets more wavy when it's humid. I hope this tutorial helps!

DIY Semi-Sheer Maxi Skirt

I bought this sheer, chiffon material at the thrift store near my house for $1.25 and used leftover elastic from old projects to turn it into this maxi skirt! I could have chosen a better thread color, but s/o to everyone else who also does not like to re-thread sewing machines. B)

Rose Strip

I found this sweater-dress in Santa Cruz that has some of my favorite colors and this awesome floral print stripe while looking for a graduation dress! Not exactly what I was looking for, but it's always fun finding used items like these and making them "new" again by changing a few simple things. (Plus, it was $3)
