This has to be one of my favorite days this summer. We went to San Francisco bright and early on a Saturday morning and stopped by Haight first. There, we saw some hip people performing on the streets (as shown in a photo above) and went shopping a bit. After, we spent lots of time on different kinds of public transportation because Steve and I aren't the best at figuring out the right buses to go on.
After derping around parts of San Francisco, we finally made it to the Golden Gate bridge and took traditional tourist photos and walked about half the bridge. Whateva. Basically the whole bridge. Later, we went to Fisherman's Wharf where we ate clam chowder and went into the aquarium. We almost didn't, and I'm so glad we did because Steve is terrified of fish and I like watching and being there with people when they face their fears :D. The ticket was $18, and we technically didn't even need to pay. ): I guess they make money off the unknowing tourists -- we are those tourists.
There's just so much to do in San Francisco. I can't be too sure of it, but I think I'd love going to college there. This one day didn't even cover half the things to do there, I definitely want to go back soon. Because of the lack of time, we went home right after the Aquarium, had the train get delayed for almost 2 hours, had some nice spanish entertainment on Caltrain, and got home at midnight.
Gah, I'm so happy Saturday happened. :')
