I've been feeling super busy with school and everything, I hardly have time to rot in front of the computer and talk about days I've fancied.
Maaaan, Junior year's going to be a bitch, but I'm ready. Maybe I may not feel too ready at this moment, but I am. I'm definitely, or I have definitely been stepping it up so much more than I've attempted to the past couple of years.
So anyway here's a bunch of bullet points of my highlights of this semester so far:
- I've finally invited a group of people over to my house. Maybe it's not a big deal, but I had this thing where I just didn't want anyone to come over because I think my house is somewhat messy most of the time (even when it isn't), but it's great because now I could care less about feeling insecure about it. I don't know, that was silly of me. There was a point where I didn't, but I've grown to love this house, this neighborhood and everything about it. Anyway, that night was pretty cool. I watched The Notebook for the first time ever and went to the park for a while with a number of my friends. It was super chill.
- I talked to one of my friends for like 5 hours just about everything, and that would be the first time I've ever had one of those moments in a perfect setting. Of course, she was a girl and it wasn't romantic or anything like it, but I don't know, it was, nice. It made me realize how much I long for intimacy, and not in the physical way.
- I've been more active in Interact and FSA, I've met plenty of great people and have had the opportunity to spend time with friends I've met a while back. It's all really wonderful, but sometimes overwhelming. I've been meeting all these seemingly great individuals, and I can hardly find the time to actually get to know them. I really hope I get the chance in the near future, though.
- Christine's birthday party was super fun. I honestly really like every person that got to go (of course they aren't the only ones). But they're all awesome people and I can't explain how happy I am to have them as friends. ASdksdjfksdjfs.
